Timisoara: Tango Jazz Quartet - Live at Manufactura

With a consolidated international career, the group has performed throughout Europe, China, Russia, Africa, South America and the United States.

In the summer of this year 2023 Tango Jazz Quartet will carry out its 13th European tour and be in Germany at the beginning and at the end of August and the group would love to perfom at your venue a new material specially by Astor Piazzolla the great Maestro who revolutionized tango music and linked it with classical music and jazz. For this the group prepared a new repertoire that runs through Piazzolla's entire career.

Tango jazz Quartet is sponsored by the Argentine Foreign Ministry who has declared his music "of high cultural interest” and recently declared "Ambassador of Argentine Tango" by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires.

 

 

TANGO JAZZ QUARTET

With 24 international tours and more than 30 countries visited , Tango Jazz Quartet performed in the most prestigious venues of the world like Smalls Jazz Club and Minton´s Play House N. York, Snug Harbor, New Orleans, San Jose Summer Jazz Festival, California, Shanghai Jazz Festival, Nisville International Jazz Festival, Serbia; Tango and Jazz Festival, Tomsk, Russia, Hong Kong Jazz Festival, Joy of Jazz Festival, Johannesburg; Pizza Express and Hamstead Jazz Club, London; Sunset-Sunside, Paris; Porgy & Bess, Vienna, Music Village Jazz Club, Brussels; BFlat, Berlin, Harris Piano Jazz, Krakow & The Loft, Cologne among others. On May 2019, the band premiered his concert for Quartet and Symphonic Orchestra and on August 2020 TJQ repeated ths concert with the Nis Philharmonic in the main stage of the Nisville Jazz Festival in Serbia.In 2022 he performed at the Gurnerius Institute in Belgrade, Serbia, the concert "Symphonic Piazzolla" together with the Chamber Orchestra of the University of Belgrade
