Bringing together over 70 electrifying spoken word performances, between International guests, Poetry and Music Fusion, Open Mic Nights, Powerful Slam competitions, raw talent and unfiltered expression.

Last year, we shattered expectations with more than 250 attendees. This year, we're going even bigger—kicking off poetry as we know it straight from its pedestal right back where it belongs - from the hands and mouths of the mavericks, in the ears and hearts of the soulful.

Access to the festival will be based on the ticket or general access pass purchased our partner ticketing agency or at location at full price (249 RON - General Access or 150 RON - General Access (Student))

If you have a Student ticket, you can swap your ticket for a wristband provided that you have a valid Student Card.

The Workshop ticket is purchased separately from the festival. Access is 18+ for the workshop.

Slam & Open Mic Poets receive a festival discount.

Youth between 15-18 years of age have free access at Transylvania International Spoken Word Festival, as long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian or with written approval from a parent (Declaration of Commitment and Parental Consent available on transilvanyaspokenword.com/regulament )
